Glenmede Appoints New Wealth Advisor

This week, Glenmede, a US-based investment and wealth management firm, has appointed Bridgette Becker as relationship manager, wealth advisory.

Becker will report to Michael Hickey, regional director of Glenmede’s Washington, DC office, the firm said in a statement.

In this role, Becker will be a steward in growing and forming meaningful client relationships, both through highlighting Glenmede’s breadth of goals-based wealth management solutions and offering specialized trust administration strategies.

Drawing on her legal and fiduciary background, Becker will help administer special assets, including real estate and life insurance, and provide support and issue resolution for complex client relationships. She will also be responsible for addressing all areas of wealth management needs, including, but not limited to income, gift and estate taxes, as well as financial and wealth transfer planning.

“With her deep expertise in estate planning and fiduciary matters, she will be an invaluable resource to our clients, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our team,” said Hickey.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Becker was an attorney at Baker Donelson, where she advised clients on trust and estate plans, estate administration and potential estate and fiduciary litigation matters, the firm added.

Before Baker Donelson, Becker spent more than six years at PNC Private Bank Hawthorn in Baltimore as a senior fiduciary advisor, where she offered counsel to ultra-high net worth clients.

Becker also worked as an attorney at Elville and Associates, a Maryland-based practice specializing in estate and special needs planning and elder law.

Becker gained her doctor of law from the University of Baltimore Law School and a bachelor of arts in political science and government from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.
